Flanged Wet Alarm Check Valve
Wet Alarm Check Valve are divided seat
ring, rubber faced clapper, check type water-flow alarm valves which are
intended for use in wet pipe (automatic sprinkler) fire protection systems.
They are designed to automatically actuate electrically and/or hydraulically
operated alarms when there is a steady flow of water into the system which is
equivalent to the discharge rate of one or more sprinklers.

Accessories
1.Delayer
When alarm check valve is installed on a system with variable pressure water
supplying, then it need be equipped with delayer to decrease the possibility of
mistake alarm.
2. Water motor alarm
After the alarm check valve starting, the valve disc uplifts from its valve
seat, and during continuous water supply process, the water flow passes through
the delayer and conducts the delaying operation, then the water powered alarm
will start to alarm.
3.Pressure switch
Alarm check valve can be equipped with pressure switch which can alarm in the
continuous water supply process by feedbacking electrical signal to the on-site
fire control panel.
When the fire fighting system starts increasing pressure, water will flow into
the system until reaching a balance between the water supplying with the system
pressure. And the alarm check valve can put pressure on the fire pumps valve to
prevent the water backflowing. Once the pressure comes to balance, the alarm
check valve will be in operation state, and the middle chamber of its seat ring
will be sealed. So if the alarm check valve was set at maintenance state, there
will no alarm port to the alarm facility (alarm pressure switch).
